I have plans to turn this inherited Hummer bumper into a light for my garage over my workbench. Hopefully this goes well. Already planned the method for hanging. Next post will hopefully be victory. May make some holes orange (go pokes).

Are you planning on mounting some sealed beams in there with some LED backlighting? Or just putting this over some florescent lights? Is this to be functional or purely cosmetic?

it's definitely going to be functional. I plan on installing LEDs and some bright bulbs. I need it to be very bright.
